Oklahoma Medical Marijuana
WHAT CONDITIONS MEET MEDICAL MARIJUANA CRITERIA?
Beginning in the fall of 2018, both adults and minors (under the care of a legal adult guardian) with Oklahoma residency may apply for a standard medical marijuana card. The Oklahoma law leaves much discretion to the physician to determine appropriate use. Since they have more research supporting their responsiveness to medicinal marijuana, these conditions commonly get approval from state programs and marijuana-friendly doctors:
- Chronic pain
- Severe nausea
- Epilepsy and other seizure disorders
- Terminal illness
- Muscle spasms
- Cachexia and wasting syndrome
- Neuropathic pain disorders
- Crohn’s disease
- Anorexia and bulimia
O ur certified Oklahoma physicians do not prescribe Medical Marijuana – they are the source for recommending a patient be approved for a medical marijuana license. Paradigm Restore Medspa is a fully equipped medical facility that is now offering comprehensive medical marijuana evaluations. Patients will be seen by a qualified physician who is experienced in alternative medicine and non-traditional pain relief. Having experience in these fields gives the doctor a unique understanding on how to treat and care for a number of chronic conditions and ailments. You’ll receive an in-depth exam to evaluate your symptoms and determine if you would substantially benefit from using medicinal cannabis. Patients will also learn the risks and benefits of using this alternative therapy. You’ll be educated on the types and strengths of product that you should consider. Our goal is to bring medical marijuana therapy to patients that benefit from alternative medications, in a safe and productive manner. You’ll develop a personal relationship with your provider and the Paradigm Restore staff, so that your care is monitored and evaluated to achieve medical goals and attain specific health needs. Approved patients will be able to submit their card applications to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority for a license.
