The prominence of gum tissue on smiling results from the elevation of the upper lip by muscles called the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi. This is thought by some to be a source of embarrassment when smiling in front of others.
Small dosages of BToX neuromodulator can simply be injected into the deep dermal area above the upper lip and cause the muscle to relax it allowing the upper lip to drop slightly.
NO SURGERY is needed!
